Montestigliano, a window on history
Montestigliano is a Tuscan hilltop hamlet of beautiful burnt orange farm houses, dating back to 1783.
A 20 minute drive (12km) from Siena and a 1 hour 15 minute drive (80km) from Florence, Montestigliano is fully immersed in the classic rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.
It is a great place to unwind in the comfort of self-contained villas, each with a fully equipped kitchen and independent entrance.
In the warmer months, step out onto your own private patio to enjoy a glass of wine in the beautiful evening summer light, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan landscapes.
Each villa has been renovated to provide all modern comforts whilst maintaining the building’s original design, making for a truly unique and memorable Tuscan experience.
At Montestigliano, we are keen to respect and protect the land we live on. We have found a wonderful balance between new and old, between tradition and innovation. We have built our own solar panels for energy, use our own water purifying system and are working on developing new eco-friendly, sustainable projects, such as our most recent biogas plant for renewable energy and a vegetable plot to provide our restaurant with fresh, organic produce. For us, this is a dream come true!
